Last week at the library, we had an astronomer there to present a program about all the stuff out there beyond earth. Somehow, he condensed it into 90 minutes. So maybe it wasn’t all the stuff. But it was very good. Afterword, we did some stargazing, taking advantage of every little break in the clouds. Jupiter was visible through the telescope. Very cool! I kind of want to get a telescope now.

This week I am reading A Twist in Time by Julie McElwain. Ms. McElwain is a new to me author, but historical mystery plus time travel – I don’t think I can go wrong!
On the audiobook side, I am ready Tanya Huff’s Valor’s Trial, book 4 in the military scifi Confederation series. I noticed she has just released book two in the Peacekeeper series. Peacekeeper is the followup series to Confederation, and while you don’t need to read Confederation first, I am into the series. So I decided I need to attempt to get caught up. Attempt. It will probably never happen.
What are you reading this weekend?

I have read several in the League series. I thought after, book 5, they all started to sound alike, but up until that time, I really enjoyed them. The first two were my favorites and I devoured them when they first came out.
