I hope all my friends in the US enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving yesterday!
Art available at Society 6.
This is the first Friday after Thanksgiving that I have not had to go to work in many years. Semi-retirement is really great! We will have family visiting today and maybe will watch the Heroes football game on TV later. Nebraska Vs. Iowa. I am a Nebraska fan living in Iowa. Go Huskers!
This weekend I am reading a fascinating scifi novel: The Jakkattu Vector by P.K. Tyler. I’ll tell you why it is fascinating when I review it later.
What are you reading this weekend?

I’m reading Battle Sylph by L.J. McDonald and enjoying it so far. Still doing NANO so I’m not doing that much reading. And of course Tuesday Jayne Ann Krentz’ new book is coming out and I’ll read that.

Marie, I read Battle Sylph quite awhile ago after the original trad editor talked at length–and very enthusiastically–about acquiring it at RWA one year. Very imaginative premise and story, as I remember.

Very excited to get to Banzai Macguire, too! I hope to finish up K.M. Fawcett’s Captive this weekend and then start on Lea Kirk’s Salvation–both SciFi Romances.

I’m reading Marie Force’s book 3 in the Fatal Series. Suspense with a side serve of romance. Not a bad read.

I’m listening to Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale, and reading a contemporary romance for a nice change of pace – Christmas at the Castle by Marion Lennox.
