There is a children’s book called The Night Gardener that was written and amazingly illustrated by brothers Terry and Eric Fan. It is really a beautiful picture book that children and adults can enjoy. According to the info on Society 6, this Dragon Topiary – Night is not included in the book. I love the detail. Like the boy in the tree flying a kite that soars past the moon. Mom and dad watching their kids. And, is that a chicken?
Art available at Society 6.
This weekend’s title has ‘Dragon’ in it, but these are not your ordinary dragons! I am reading Dragon in the Blood by Juliette Cross.
What are you reading this weekend?

I read Rise of the Dragons by Morgan Rice. Now I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Marie, I have that one on my e-book TBR shelf, because a) it was free and b) dragons! So maybe it needs to move up in the queue?! BTW, nice of you to stick with the Dragon theme here.

I had it in my TBR file for exactly the same reasons. I actually only now realized I was continuing the theme. So since we are on a roll lets talk dragon books.
My all time favorite is G.A. Aiken’s books. If you haven’t read them run and buy them immediately and cancel your plans for the weekend. I just decided that’s what I’m reading tonight. It always puts me in a good mood.
I have a few favorites in the series although each book is excellent but the second one is the one I reread most.

Oh yes, let not forget the handsome Gwenvael.
Did you read Dragonbound by Thea Harrison. I stopped reading the series more out of time concerns than anything else but I love the first book in the series.

Yes, I ditto your sentiments. I liked the first book. I see I gave it five stars on Goodreads. But like you, I did not read any more of the series.

I just realized that’s about it for the dragon books I read. I love dragons so its shocking that I haven’t read more. Though G.A. Aiken did it so well her books are the standard I measure all other dragon books by.

Isabel Cooper wrote the Highland Dragons series. I really appreciated her centuries old dragon shifters because they were depicted as being centuries old, but still appealed to this middle-aged human. An older series is Katie MacAlister’s Light Dragon series. Lots of humor, though I only read the first one. And Coreene Callahan Dragonfury series is lots of action and lovin’. If you like dragons, you should like her Facebook page. She posts dragon pictures all the time.
